Frequently Asked Questions

Everything parents usually ask before their first visit. Don't see your question? Call (718) 587-7868 and we'll be happy to help.

Booking & visiting

How do I book a workshop?

Call us at (718) 587-7868, email [email protected], or fill out the booking form. Let us know your child's age, the project you're interested in and a few times that work. We'll reply to confirm.

Can we just walk in?

We recommend booking ahead, especially on weekends, so we can save you a table. If you're nearby, give us a call; if there's room, we're happy to fit you in.

What are your hours?

Our schedule changes with school terms, holidays and private events, so please call (718) 587-7868 or send us a message to check open times for the day you'd like to visit.

How much does a workshop cost?

Pricing depends on the project and the base piece your child chooses (for example, a small cup versus a large fairy house). Ask us when you book and we'll explain the options so there are no surprises.

Kids, ages & parents

What ages do you welcome?

Most projects suit kids from about 4 to 14, and pom-pom art works for 3-year-olds. Teens and adults are welcome too, and grown-ups often end up making their own piece.

Do parents need to stay?

We ask that a parent or guardian stays with younger children. Older kids can craft on their own while you relax in the studio. Talk to us when booking about drop-off for older kids.

What should my child wear?

Comfortable clothes that can handle a little paint or glue. We provide aprons and wipes, but crafts can still get creative with sleeves.

Can siblings or friends make different projects?

Yes. Each child can choose their own workshop at the same table. Just let us know when you book so we prep the right materials.

Projects

How long does a project take?

Most sessions run about 45 to 90 minutes depending on the project and how much detail your child adds. Pom-pom art is quicker; miniature food and detailed bead designs take longer.

Do we take the project home the same day?

Usually. Painted figures, bead art and pom-pom pictures go home right away. Cream glue pieces stay soft for a few hours, so carry them carefully or arrange to pick them up once they've set.

Are the materials safe for kids?

We choose kid-friendly craft supplies and our guides supervise every table. Small parts like beads and charms are not suitable for children who still put objects in their mouths, so please tell us if you're bringing a very young child.

Parties & groups

Do you host birthday parties?

Yes! We lead the craft, provide all materials and clean up afterward, and every guest takes home what they made. See our birthday party page for details.

Can schools or camps book a group visit?

Definitely. We work with classes, camps, scout troops and community groups. Contact us with your group size, ages and preferred dates.
