Inside Our Astoria Craft Studio
Craft Pop is a cheerful, light-filled studio up one flight of stairs on 30th Avenue, built from the floor up for kids who like to make things.
A place to slow down and make something
We opened Craft Pop to give Astoria families a creative space close to home, somewhere kids can put down the tablet, pick up a brush or a piping bag, and spend an afternoon making something that's entirely theirs.
Instead of handing every child the same kit, we stock our counters with hundreds of bases, colors and charms. Kids browse, choose and combine. That freedom is what makes the projects feel special, and it's why no two pieces leaving our studio are ever alike.
Our guides keep things friendly and relaxed: they demonstrate techniques, help with tricky steps, and cheer on every finished piece.

How we run the studio
Choice first
Kids pick their own materials. Ownership is what makes them proud of the result.
Process over perfect
Wobbly lines and wild color combos are welcome here. Trying is the point.
Clean & organized
Labeled supplies, tidy tables and wiped-down tools between sessions.
Family friendly
Parents are welcome to craft along, sit nearby, or just enjoy the show.
Entrance at 31-14 30th Ave
Our street door is marked 31-14 with a Craft Pop poster next to it. Head inside and up the stairs to the second floor, where our posters point the way to the studio door.
Please note the studio is up one flight of stairs. If you need help with a stroller or have accessibility questions, call us at (718) 587-7868 before your visit.
